Asahi International School was establishedin Harajuku, Tokyo, in 1973. Then from the year 1981, we have devolved intoJapanese language education for near half a century. As a member of theAssociation for the Promotion of Japanese Language Education (Nisshinkyo),Asahi International School was the first authorized Japanese school as No. 87-,which could apply for the Certificate of Eligibility for the overseasapplicants.
Asahi International School locates in a city named "Kashiwa"in Chiba Prefecture, which has a population of about 400,000. Foreignersresident here because of its convenience of transportation towards the downtownof Tokyo. Joban Line, Tobu Line, and Tsukuba Express Line run through Kashiwacity and provide a quick way to go to Asakusa or Disney Resort in about 30minutes.
Kashiwa is a cultural city where TokyoUniversity, Chiba University, Tokyo University of Science, Reitaku University,and Nishiogakusha University place their campus here.
Asahi International School is about a 5-minute walk to the Kashiwa station, surrounded by secondary schools and crammingschools. Almost all the students of Asahi live in some convenient spots aroundthe school. All the teachers here are professional Japanese educators with teaching skills and concerns about students. We provide test-preparation lessons andordinary Japanese language lectures with a robust backup from experiencedteachers engaged in editing "JLPT Bible" -Kanzen Master N1, N2grammar, and kanji.
We exert to provide our students' safesurroundings to focus on their studies. We have dormitory accommodation (a limitednumber of rooms). In addition, there are loan-based scholarships for those whoare willing to work as caregivers in the future. We grant the students who passedthe N1 or N2 of JLPT an incentive for their graduation ceremony to encouragethe students.
